Reduced lead times for valve body machining

Today our customers find themselves in a very demanding and unstable industrial environment. In this context, the demanded needs often require very short response times.

The valves sector is aimed at markets such as OIL&GAS, Nuclear, Desalination, Petrochemical, Mining... among others. These markets cover very diverse applications but in all of them there is a high demand to respond quickly to urgent needs. ARRI, aware of this market evolution, has a wide internal development in the clamping systems to have an immediate reaction.

The valve body machining service (among other components) offered by ARRI must necessarily be adapted to different special geometries depending on the requirements of each project. With in-house designed modular clamping systems, ARRI is able to clamp all kinds of parts with special geometries within 24 hours.

Special clamping systems

This special clamping systems are used in Trevisan turning centers. We have 6 models that cover the entire size range. We have a Trevisan 1200, a Trevisan 900, two Trevisan 600 machines, a Trevisan 450 and a Trevisan 300. These machines are specially designed to machine valve bodies, as well as other components such as bonnets... Trevisan machines make it possible to machine valve bodies in a single setup. ARRI can machine from 1" to 72" bodies, with a maximum piece weight of 25tn.

Using a combination of in-house designed tooling and commercial tooling, we tie 99% of our customers parts, such as, ball valve bodies, globe valve bodies, check valve bodies, plug valve bodies, butterfly valve bodies and gate valve bodies.

A great advantage is that these clamping systems enable the tooling to be ready in 24h, which allows us to meet the short delivery times that our customers require. As the part is completely machined in one go, geometric tolerances are also guaranteed and partial deliveries can be made if our customers want to do so.
